I am a small, evergreen shrub with aromatic curry flavoured foliage and yellow flowers in spring and summer. Originating in the Mediterranean where I have been traditionally used sparingly to flavour meat dishes. I am not related to the curry plant used to flavour Asian dishes, Murraya koenigii. I am admired for my foliage and blooms and work well in the garden. My blooms will retain their colour when picked as cut or dried flowers. Hardy I enjoy full sun and am tolerant of most well drained soils. I also do well in containers.
