A boysenberry is a cross between a European raspberry (Rubus idaeus), a common blackberry (Rubus fruticosus), and a loganberry. The growing habit is that of a trailing vine so it is advisable to construct some sort of trellising for support. On a well established bush, the vines measure up to seven metres in length.
