The Philodendron Super Atom has a leathery dark green leaf that forms the shape of a heart. They grow well in a warm position but also tolerate cooler temperatures. in cool climates when the plant is young it would be advisable to keep them inside. They have great uses including offices and homes and patios. once more mature they will tolerate a protected position in the garden
A Super Atom will not grow much taller than 20cm, as it is very compact so they will stay in the one position for a long time and not outgrow it.
They require low to moderate water and a liquid feed every couple of months will help keep them looking exceptional with shiny leaves.
The super atom makes a good table setting as they are small. Due to the wide dark leaves dust can show on the leaves the same as all indoor plants so it is recommended to put your plants all together in the shower or garden and hose them off every now and again. this keeps them looking great!
