Tannus Armour is a multi-cell foam insert, made with the patented Aither compound, offering 360° bead to bead protection against punctures, sidewall cuts, rim damage and pinch flats for any level or style of riding. Lightweight and flexible, yet highly durable, this product is a must-have for any cyclist. The Tannus Armour provides 15mm of top puncture protection and 2mm of sidewall protection to keep your tires safe from sharp objects and rocks. With no contact between the inner tube and rim, this product eliminates pinch flats. Additionally, its cushioning upon impact provides extra rim protection. The Tannus Armour provides sidewall support, effectively preventing tire buckling when laterally-applied force is applied during fast cornering. This allows for lower tire pressure than what would be needed for a standard tubeless set-up. For City/Commuter/Gravel/Touring, recommended pressure is 25-30 PSI, while for MTB it is 15-20 PSI. Installing the Armour is just as simple and fast as installing a regular tire, and requires no maintenance.
