The RYOBI 3.2mm (1/8”) Self-Centring Door Hinge Drill Bit enables you to drill precisely-centred pilot holes and install door hinges with optimum alignment. The bevelled nose centres itself when pressed into a hinge hole to drill accurate pilot holes and ensure screws sit flush against the hinge.
Off-centre pilot holes and screws that don’t sit flush can cause uneven gaps along the length of a door, unwanted wear and tear on closing mechanisms, and even prevent a door from closing altogether.
This Drill Bit creates pilot holes in timber and suits #8, #10 and #12 gauge screws. Dual clearance holes ensure debris escapes while you drill, preventing blockages.
Inside the Drill Bit’s housing is a replaceable HSS drill bit with sharpened edges for faster, cleaner drilling. Remove it by loosening the integrated grub screw. This ensures you can continue using the same self-centring mechanism for long, repetitive jobs without the need to buy a new unit if the drill bit becomes blunt.
The ¼” hex shank provides a secure grip in drill driver and impact driver chucks.
