The cutting angle adjusts from 0˚ -45˚ so you can make precise bevel cuts. Four orbital settings adjust the cutting motion. Use settings (1-3) for a pendulum cutting action to produce fast and aggressive cuts. Select the low setting (0) for a straight up-and-down cutting action to for finer, more controlled cuts in thin materials. A blade release lever enables quick and easy blade changes. The no-mar base pad helps prevent unwanted scratches and marks on work surfaces. Attach the dust port adaptor to a wet and dry vac to collect sawdust and maintain a cleaner workspace. It also pivots to keep vacuum hoses out of the way while you cut.
