ROCKCOTE Patch & Prep is a cementitious polymer modified adhesive base coat manufactured to exacting conditions from high quality, washed and graded sands, off white Portland cement and proprietary additives conforming to Australian Standard 3972.
ROCKCOTE Patch & Prep is a pre-blended, polymer-modified cement adhesive base coat that only requires the addition of clean, cool water and mixing before application. ROCKCOTE Patch & Prep is specially designed for use on fibre cement sheet and cladding for setting joints and for the installation of PVC beads. ROCKCOTE Patch & Prep is ideal for use as a base coat over fibre cement sheets, provided that a minimum of 2mm dry film build of acrylic render is used as a finish coat.
ROCKCOTE Patch & Prep is ideal for use on Blueboard for filling joints. Must be used with ROCKCOTE Mesh Tape when used for filling joints on Blueboard. Embed the ROCKCOTE Mesh Tape into the ROCKCOTE Patch & Prep whilst still wet and flush off.
