HOW IT WORKS

Scotts Lawn Builder™ is a slow-release fertiliser that provides continuous nutrition over a three month period
Every granule of Scotts Lawn Builder™ + Wetting Agent contains Scotts patented time-release nitrogen
The included professional grade wetting agent assists moisture to penetrate deep into the root zone and improves the uptake of nutrients
Nutrients are released at about the same rate that grass roots can take up the fertiliser so there is no wastage, run-off to waterways or damaging surge growth


HOW TO USE

How much will I need?

This Scotts Lawn Builder™ has a recommended application rate of 16g/m2

To work out how much you will need to fertilise your lawn

Calculate the area of the lawn in square metres (multiply the length by the width)
The area multiplied by the application rate will give the exact amount of Scotts Lawn Builder™ you need
Use a set of scales to weigh it out and then add it to the spreader ready to apply - do not be tempted to add a 'bit extra for luck' because over-application may result in nitrogen burning

How do I apply it?

For best results ALWAYS use a Scotts spreader
Check your model and make sure to set it correctly before you start (settings are also on the back label of the product)
If you don't have a spreader, make sure you distribute the fertiliser evenly over the lawn - uneven applications may result in 'hot spot' burning where too much has landed in one spot

Dry Method

If water restrictions are in operation, apply to the lawn without watering in
Scotts Lawn Builder™ is safe on the lawn until it next rains or the lawn needs watering when it has been applied evenly with a spreader and at the rate recommended on the bag
Scotts Lawn Builder™ + Wetting Agent is guaranteed to green the lawn within one week of the lawn receiving moisture


Fast Method

Your lawn will be greener in two days with watering
For fast results apply to moist lawn, wait 24 hours and then water in thoroughly

WHEN TO USE

For best results, feed your lawns three times a year - in early Spring, early Summer and Autumn
Avoid feeding lawns in cooler regions in Winter
The release of nutrients from granules is controlled by temperature
In Winter when soil temperatures are low and lawn growth is extremely slow in many areas, the granules will simply 'sit' there

SAFETY INFORMATION

IMPORTANT: This product, when wet, will cause iron stains. Be sure to sweep all granules off paths, coping, paving, driveways, shoes, etc immediately after use. Do not allow the granules to come into contact with these surfaces when they are wet

Store safely out of the reach of children and pets. This product contains iron which can be harmful to dogs' livers if eaten in quantity
