- Long vase life
- Excellent choice for cut flowers

Peony ‘Rosedale’ is a ravishing red, early flowering semi double to double variety. Like its namesake suggests, it is quite rose like in form and has a soft fragrance.
This heritage variety was registered by Auten (USA) in 1936, has mid green, glossy foliage. Each bloom is around 10cm across.
It has long stems making it an excellent choice for cut flowers. A herbaceous rootstock perineal the Paeony Rose is a must for any garden! Starting out as lovely tight buds, delicate layers open out to rose like blooms. Beautifully fragranced, these flowers will scent a room when used as a cut flower and will last well in a vase.
Peony Roses are strong growing perennials that flower in late Spring to early Summer, depending on the variety and your location in Australia. Whilst not technically roses, their flowers often resemble a rose, giving them their common name; and they make beautiful cut flowers that last well in a vase. Cold winters will result in the best blooms so best suited to cooler regions. Prefers a well-drained position in full sunlight. Plants will die down over Winter and re-grow each year forming a leafy clump. Spread lime towards the end of flowering to improve root development and improve flowers for the following year.
Supplied as a bare rooted plant.
