Product Description

These Tradeflame Polystyrene Plastic Welding Rods are designed to be used with the Tradeflame Plastic Welding Kit (part 213045). They are ideal for use on CD cases, plastic cutlery, imitation glassware, low cost brittle toys, foamed polystyrene cups and takeaway clamshells, protective packaging and building and food insulation and where welding of PS plastic is needed.

PS is clear, glassy, rigid opaque semi tough and softens at 95C. it is affected by fat acids and solvents but is resistant to alkalis and salt solutions. It has low water absorption and when not pigmented is clear is also odour and taste free.
