The 4901PVR is a Multi-Tuner VAST receiver and recording device that delivers the ability to record up to 10 simultaneous events on a MASSIVE 1.5TByte internal Hard Disk Drive (HDD). The Graphic User Interface (GUI) bears a striking resemblance to the Market Leading Altech UEC DSD4921RV. The DHR4901PVR packs a lot of power into the large but slender enclosure. The striking TFT Front Panel display offers the User the ability to read the full Channel description and not just the channel number, from the front of the Set Top Box housing. In Standby Mode, the current time and date are presented on the Front Panel. Should you prefer to place the 4901 Enclosure out of site, inside a TV cabinet for example, the RF4CE enabled Remote Control Units can be set up to use RF (Radio Frequency) signals to operate the Menu system and Electronic Guide (EPG). The EPG (Program Guide) includes a Live Picture in Picture window to enable you to keep track of the current program while browsing the extensive Program Guide.
