Step 1: Cut Timber

Choose your pine timber and get it cut to size at Bunnings or you can do it yourself. You will need:

  • 4 x 380mm x 140mm boards for the short ends
  • 4 x 600mm x 140mm boards for the long sides
  • 3 x 600mm x 140mm boards for the base
  • 4 x 290mm x 42mm pine for the corners

Step 2: Sand

Next, sand the timber boards with fine-grain sandpaper using your sanding block. Sand with the grain of the wood, not against it. Then wipe it clean with a dust cloth.
