Quick Tip

You can extend the reach of your power drill or impact driver by using a drill extension bit. This helps you drive screws into confined spaces and reduces your need for manual screwdrivers.

Step by Step Instructions

1 Predrill the screw holes for the pantry pullout baskets
2 Assemble and install the bottom runners for the pantry pullout baskets frame
3 Install the U-Iron for the pantry pullout baskets frame
4 Install L-bracket into the pantry pullout baskets frame
5 Install the main frame for the pantry pullout baskets
6 Attach the door rack for the pantry pullout baskets
7 Install the hinges onto the pantry door
8 Hang the door and install the connecting strips
9 Hang the baskets on the frame
  • Step 1. Predrill the screw holes for the pantry pullout baskets

Mark out and pre-drill the screw holes for the top and bottom of the basket frame as specified in the instructions. Where you position your screw points on the top panel will depend on which side your pantry door opens. The holes only need to be 2.5mm deep.
  • Step 2. Assemble and install the bottom runners for the pantry pullout baskets frame

Remove the two flathead screws from the bottom of an L-iron. Then use those screws to attach the L-iron to a runner. You will need to slide the runner forward to attach one screw, then slide the runner back to attach the other screw. Repeat for the second L-iron. Then remove the two top screws from each L-iron and screw the runners into place in the bottom of the pantry.
  • Step 3. Install the U-Iron for the pantry pullout baskets frame

The U-iron is the thin u-shaped strip of metal that stabilises the top of the basket frame when it moves. Place it over the top of the holes you pre-drilled in the top of the pantry in Step 1. Fix the U-iron into place using the four screws provided.
  • Step 4. Install L-bracket into the pantry pullout baskets frame

There are two screws on the back of each side of the main rectangle-shaped frame. If you are installing into a pantry with a right-opening door, loosen the screws on the right side and slide the L-bracket into place. For a left-opening door, do this on the left. Leave the screws loose because you will tighten them later.
  • Step 5. Install the main frame for the pantry pullout baskets

Slide the bottom runners to the front and place the main frame in the pantry. Place the top castors into the U-iron and screw the bottom of the frame into the L-irons on the runners. Once the frame is securely in place, tighten the screws holding the L-bracket in place at the top of the frame. Then slide the protective covers over the bottom runners.
  • Step 6. Attach the door rack for the pantry pullout baskets

Mark out and pre-drill the screw points for the door rack panels as specified in the instructions. The two door rack panels are slightly different. If you are installing into a pantry with a right-opening door, attach the panel with the top and bottom brackets to the left hand side of the door. For a left-opening door, attach the bracket panel on the right hand side.
  • Step 7. Install the hinges onto the pantry door

The hinges come in two sections – the first screws on to the door and the second screws on to the cabinet. Start by disconnecting the two sections of the hinge and screw the door section on to the pre-drilled hole. Repeat for all four hinges in the door.
  • Step 8. Hang the door and install the connecting strips

Screw the back plates of the hinges onto the pantry cabinet. Then clip the hinges on to the back plates to hang the door in place. Now attach the connecting strips to the basket frame. Start by removing the nuts and bolts on the connecting strips, line up the holes and secure the strips in position
  • Step 9. Hang the baskets on the frame

Open and close the pantry door a couple of times to make sure the frame is sliding properly. Then hang your baskets in place. Insert the wire pegs at the back of each basket into the holes of the frame and gently push them down to hold them in position. The small baskets are for the door rack. Once you are sure the baskets are properly in place, your pantry is ready to go.
