1. Figure out what you want to say

Who doesn’t love an inspirational quote? The good news is Pinterest and Instagram are full of them so there are plenty to choose from. We went with ‘Live your best life’, because, well, who doesn’t want that?!

2. Pick out your letters

Once you’ve decided what you want to say, choose the corresponding letters from your Alphabet Craft Wood Kit – you can pick these up from the craft aisle at your local Bunnings. Arrange the letters on your canvas, positioning them any way you choose.

3. Apply your paint

How you colour or paint your letters is totally up to you – we decided to spray paint ours black, giving our canvas a light all over ‘graffiti’ look. Remember if you’re doing this it’s important to wear  a mask. Give your spray can a quick shake, then hold it around 20cm from the letters and spray lightly across your canvas.

4. Leave to dry

Give everything a bit of time to dry, then carefully remove your letters (you can flip your canvas and shake them off if you like) – and voila, your masterpiece is complete!

5. Put it on display

How easy was that? Now what are you waiting for – go out and live your best darn life! No excuses!
