Clean floors made easy with Vileda

Getting your floors pristine is easy when you have the best tools and tips.

Bunnings magazine, September 2020

So clean, you could eat off it. It’s the tongue-in-cheek measure of a spotless home, but to pass such a close inspection you need great cleaning tools that will stand-up to the most scrupulous standards.

Gold standard clean

We feel like our floors are cleaner when we’ve mopped, as opposed to just sweeping, but the difference is more than just the satisfaction of a job well done. Vileda Easy Wring & Clean Turbo Spin Mop is the gold standard, not only removing dirt, but also over 99 per cent of bacteria with just water*. If you’re getting up close and personal with your floor – for example, when playing with the kids – you need to upgrade to this next-level spin mop. Its millions of tiny fibres trap, retain and pick up dirt and bacteria without the use of harsh chemicals. And it’s so easy to spin – the water and dirt go straight into the bucket. You cannot get any cleaner!

Pristine in between

A quick spruce-up between cleans is great, but only if it’s effective. Vileda ProMist Max Spray Mop is lightweight and always ready to use; just spray and mop to bring your floors back to sparkling – no bucket required! It’s perfect for everyday spills, on any indoor floor type.

Expert tips

You’re no cleaning rookie, but tweaking your technique can bear ultra-clean rewards:

  • Use a ‘figure eight’ motion with your mop to catch all the dirt and avoid just moving it around the room.

  • Start at the far end of the room and work your way towards the exiting door so you don’t mop yourself into a corner.

  • Keep a few mop head refills at home so you always have a fresh one on hand. Follow the packaging instructions to machine wash.

  • Replace the mop head every four months or so (based on normal use) to ensure your Vileda mop is working as hard as it can to keep your home clean

You can also use a simple test kit from Bunnings to indicate the presence of lead-based paint.
