The DXIG2200 delivers 2200 starting watts (2.2KVA) (used when your tool/appliance first turns on) and 1800 running watts (used once your tool/appliance is running).

Inverter technology regulates power to make it one of the safest forms of portable power to use on sensitive devices. One of the lightest portable generators available, the DXIG2200 is suitable for light trade applications, use around the home, or for your favorite recreational activities.

With 2200 watts of power, it is ideal for use with small power tools and home appliances like refrigerators and TV's. It has one 240 volt outlet that can be used with 15 amp or 10 amp tools or appliances, along with a 12 volt cigarette lighter style outlet. The digital data centre shows the power usage, remaining fuel level, and overall runtime hours.

Safety features include low-oil shutdown, preventing the motor from running without oil, and a weather-resistant cover over the 240V outlet that is rated to IP44.

The DEWALT 79cc engine, with its easy-pull recoil starter, has eco-mode that delivers excellent fuel efficiency, and with the low-tone muffler, it is one of the quietest petrol generators available. The 4.5L fuel tank gives the DXIG2200 a run time of 8 hours at 50% load (900 watts).

Included in the box is 500ml of 10W30 4 stroke oil, a double-sided screwdriver with Phillips and flat heads, a tube-wrench for replacing the spark plug, a 12V dual-USB adapter that fits into the 12V socket of the generator, and the user manual.
