Bunnings is throwing its support behind communities impacted by the cyclone and floods in Queensland and New South Wales with a nationwide sausage sizzle at Bunnings stores, supporting not-for-profit donation platform, GIVIT. 

On Friday 21 March from 9am to 4pm, Bunnings team members will get behind BBQs across Australia, with 100% of all funds raised going to GIVIT, a platform managing donations for communities impacted by Tropical Cyclone Alfred and North & Far North Queensland floods.

In addition to grabbing a snag at the National Fundraising Sausage Sizzle for GIVIT, customers have the option to make a donation instore through a register or online:

Donations managed through GIVIT include grocery and fuel vouchers for immediate relief, products to assist in the clean-up effort and whitegoods and furniture as people move back into their homes. 

Please note stores impacted by weather or food shortages may not be able to participate in hosting a sausage sizzle fundraiser.

We know there is a long road ahead, and Bunnings team members will continue to work alongside impacted communities in the coming weeks and months to offer support and assistance with the recovery and rebuilding process.
