They come in 2 finishes: a Rougher Headed version for your non visible structural jobs or in a Premium DAR finish that is suitable for Staining and or Painting.Being a solid timber post means that the true strength ‘mother nature’ is not compromised whilst the natural characteristics of the timber continue to shine through without visible joins of alternative Engineered or laminated posts. Like all Natural products – they have tendency to react to the local environment – in order to minimise warping and twisting – the protective wrap not only prevents this from occurring but protects the product during installation. Please ensure that you leave the protective wrap on until installed and or anchored at both ends. Its important (and good practice) that you ‘end seal’ the product where any cuts or penetrations have been made.
