Product Description

This very hardy deciduous medium sized shade tree grows to approximately 9mts tall and 7mts wide. Late Winter / early Spring Manchurian pears have masses of white flowers followed by beautiful dark glossy green leaves for Spring and Summer. The Autumn show is fantastic with the leaves turning a mostly red colour. Orange and yellow tones can also be seen depending on the climate. The colder the nights in Autumn, the more red the show.

One great feature of the Manchurian Pear is the fact that they will colour in Autumn even in warmer climates. They are great as feature trees, shade trees, Avenue plantings and can even be pleached.

For best results they need full sun and fertile, well-drained mulched soil. Fertilise at the start of Spring.
