Product Description

This hardy, adaptable ornamental native shrub produces masses of red flower spikes during spring. The flowers attract nectar feeding birds.

‘Kings Park Special’ is an ideal screening/hedging plant or as a great specimen in the garden that will withstand the poorest of soils taking water logging, dry periods, light frost and moderate coastal exposure.

It grows best in well drained, moist soil and full sun for optimum flowering.

Growing tip: After flowering, remove all the spent buds and feed with a long term an all purpose fertiliser. This will help to keep the plant full and bushy and help to set up the next wave of flowers.
