The Phormium Cookianum Black Adder from New Zealand is known for being one of the darkest ever. Featuring striking espresso colored foliage with a purple tinge and elegant, pendulous leaves, Black Adder makes a great accent plant, ideal for mass planting, decorative pots or as a dramatic addition to the garden. It is a hardy, medium growing plant that should be planted in well drained soil and watered deeply until established.
