Product Description

For those seeking a classic, elegant look 'Penny's Pink' is the answer. The beautiful Hellebore has certainly earned its reputation as a highly sought after addition to the winter garden. These beautiful flowers are a unique dome shape, and adorn the plant right throughout winter and early spring. 'Penny's Pink' can for kept for up to three weeks* indoors in a well lit room before being planted out into a container or garden bed. Plant alongside our other varieties for maximum impact. Hellebores provide stunning results when mass planted in shady areas of the garden.

Plant in any soil that is well draining. For best results, feed in late autumn and spring with a slow release fertiliser before and after flowering. Water requirements are medium, once established. Will benefit from an occasional deep soak during periods of extended heat. If growing in containers or full sun, care should be taken not to allow to dry out completely. Trim flowering stems back to ground level late spring.

*Performance indoors will vary due to conditions within each environment.

  • Terrific accent plant for general garden use
  • Container flower displays for winter and early spring
  • Well suited to small gardens, patios and courtyards
  • Elegant colour and interest for shady areas
  • Great under canopy plant beneath tree canopies
