Product Description

One of the best things about winter is Hellebores! This beautiful variety is sure to win you over with its stunning deep flower colour. For those seeking a classic, elegant look Anna's Red is the answer. Boasting deep magenta blooms which adorn the plant in winter and early spring. Anna's Red is a vigorous grower with a tidy habit. Plant alongside our other varieties for maximum impact. Hellebores provide stunning results when mass planted in shady areas of the garden and can be kept for up to three weeks* indoors in a well lit room before being planted out into a container or garden bed.

Plant in any soil that is well draining. For best results, feed in late autumn and spring with a slow release fertiliser before and after flowering. Water requirements are medium, once established. Will benefit from an occasional deep soak during periods of extended heat. If growing in containers or full sun, care should be taken not to allow to dry out completely. Trim flowering stems back to ground level late spring and feed with a slow release fertilizer

*Performance indoors will vary due to conditions within each environment.

  • Terrific accent plant for general garden use
  • Great for pot displays in winter and early spring
  • Well suited to small gardens, patios and courtyards
  • Elegant colour and interest for shady entertainment areas
  • Great for use in under-story planting beneath tree canopies
