Product Description

Pellaea falcata is native to Eastern Australia. Commonly called the Sickle Fern, it is an attractive and tough native fern with semi-erect fronds up to 70cm. They produce dark green glossy broad heart-shaped pinnae especially when young.

  • They prefer a well-drained, moist soil so adjust watering so suit the season.
  • Position your Sickle Fern in a low light to dappled light position to thrive.
  • The Sickle Fern is great as an attractive feature indoors in a pot or used for mass planting in outdoor ferneries and rockeries.
  • To keep your Sickle Fern looking at its best, remove spent fronds to soil level. Don't forget to check out the Pellaea rotundifolia Button Fern we grow in the Easy Care Range
