Cosmos - Are a good cut flower and very hardy. Choose a sunny, well-drained position. Add Thrive Granular All Purpose Fertiliser for best results

Snow peas can be planted now while the weather is still cool. Space the seeds 3-5 cm apart against a fence or trellis as they will need support. Cultivate them regularly to destroy weeds and pick peas every few days to prolong flowering.

Prune hibiscus, abutilons (Chinese lantern), acalphas and poinsettias.

Feed camellias & azaleas after flowering to encourage good growth.

Fertilise everything in the garden and top up layers of organic mulch.
