Cosmos - Are a good cut flower and very hardy. Choose a sunny, well-drained position. Add Thrive Granular All Purpose Fertiliser for best results. Start indoors and transplant after frosts have finished.

Peas - Are easy to grow and are adaptable to light and heavy soils. Climbing peas will need support, but dwarf peas will yield better if able to cling to twigs or wire netting.

Prune roses and transplant deciduous trees and shrubs while they are still dormant.

Feed camellias & azaleas after flowering to encourage new growth.

Spray copper oxychloride or Fungus Fighter onto peach and nectarine trees when their new buds start to swell.
