Cosmos - Are a good cut flower and very hardy. Choose a sunny, well-drained position. Add Thrive Granular All Purpose Fertiliser for best results

This is a great month to plan and prepare a new vegetable bed. Tomatoes can be sown directly, but it is more usual to raise the seedlings in boxes for transplanting.

Finish rose pruning. After pruning, give roses a clean-up spray with Yates Lime Sulphur.

Feed camellias & azaleas after flowering to encourage new growth.

Spray weedy lawns with Lush Bindii Killer or Yates Weed'n'Feed.
