  • 8am - 4pm (Note: suppliers are expected to be on their stand at 7:30am)

 

Bump out - 

  • Wednesday 21st July 4pm – 9pm
  • Thursday 22nd July 8am - 10am  

 

It is your responsibility to make sure that no items are left behind at the venue. This is very important as the venue will discard anything left on site.

Parking

Booth Costs

The cost of a 3x3m booth at the 2010 Sydney Spring Launch will be $1750.
This will be deducted from your end of month remittance following the event unless otherwise requested during registration. 

 

                                       
   
 

  Logistics

  

 

 

Agility Fairs and Events have once again been appointed as the official transport and logistics contractor for the 2010 Spring Launch.

Agility Fairs and Events specialises in exhibition freight forwarding - both domestic and international. Agility can ensure that your product, display & merchandise are in the right place, at the right time, providing a complete transport, materials handling & storage service. Their service provides complete monitoring of freight from your door step right through to your exhibition booth to make sure your goods are handled in a professional manner and all formalities/deadlines are met. Storage of early consignments, packing materials during the exhibition and storage after the exhibition can also be arranged.

Bunnings have brought Agility Fairs and Events on as a preferred supplier, however you are not obligated to use their services.

If you are using your own transport company, Agility cannot sign for delivery or pick up of goods on your behalf, therefore, please ensure you make the necessary arrangements to be present for delivery or collection.

All deliveries should be clearly marked with the exhibitor contact details, stand number etc.

No items should be delivered to the venue before bump in on Monday 19th July. Please organise to be at the venue when your items are delivered if you are not using Agility Fairs and Events.

Please ensure your products and any paperwork complies with state quarantine laws to avoid products being quarantined or inspected on entry (e.g. seeds, timber, plants etc).
   
 

  Safety

 

  

 

 

 

  It is essential that all people entering the venue during bump in and bump out are wearing a fluoro safety vest. Security will be present on the door and will not allow entry to those without a vest. Note - you will need to provide your own safety vest.

Forklifts moving heavy loads and pallets will be in operation on site during bump-in and bump-out; as such exclusions zones and clearways have been set up to manage traffic flow. Please ensure you are aware and comply with any directional signage appropriately.

Children under the age of 18 are NOT permitted on site at the Spring Launch during bump in, event days or bump out.

A designated smoking area will be sign posted outside the venue. Smoking is prohibited directly outside the entrance to the event.

During the online registration process, you were asked to advise us of the number of reps you expect to be on your stand on each event day. We have based catering numbers on these submissions.

On the morning of each event day, meal tokens will be distributed to your nominated state contact in line with what you have submitted on registration. These tokens will be redeemable until 3pm that day.

A continuous tea and coffee service will be provided throughout the event day, commencing from 7.30am until 3pm

Last year over 2000 Team Members visited the Sydney Spring Launch. This year we anticipate an even larger attendance so please be prepared for busy periods throughout the day.







 

    

 
 
 
 

  Promotional Material, Prizes and Giveaways

 

 

As you may be aware, Team Member giveaways are generally discouraged. In the event you deem it beneficial to distribute sample products or items from your booth you will need to seek the approval of your buyer. You will also need to demonstrate that the items are relevant to the products you supply to Bunnings.

Competitions and incentives are accepted however it is essential that they are relevant to your product and support the objective of ‘increasing Team Member knowledge’.

 

Any kind of promotional materials (eg. brochures, flyers, competitions etc) must be distributed to Team Members on your stand at the Spring Launch show only. Under no circumstances are any materials relating to the Spring Launch event to be handed, emailed or posted to the Team Member at their applicable store.

  Supplier Accreditation & Exhibitor Passes

 

 

 

 

  

To enter the Spring Launch event it is necessary for all Suppliers to present their Supplier Accreditation at the door. If you do not hold an accreditation, please let us know on arrival at the event to obtain a Spring Launch exhibitor pass.

Please note: In order to obtain discounted parking rates, you will need to show your accreditation or valid exhibitor pass.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
 
 

  Accommodation

 

 

 

Bunnings have negotiated corporate rates for accommodation at the Novotel Sydney Olympic Park for 18 July - 22 July 2010. Room rates start at $205 per standard queen room. Note: these room rates are subject to availability.  Please follow the link if you wish to book one or more rooms for your stay in Sydney.
