Community Fun Days are a special family and local community event held at Bunnings Warehouse stores.

Community Fun Days feature special entertainment, fun activities as well as presentations and displays from local community groups and charities. The idea is to help these valuable organisations boost local awareness of their important community work – and have a great day of fun at the same time!

Each community group is provided with a stand so they can distribute brochures, showcase their activities, gather donations, conduct activities or appeal for assistance.

Community Fun Day at Lake Haven 10th of November 2007
	Over 12 Community Groups participated on the day ranging from local school groups, Gardening Clubs, Animal Welfare 4paws (where 5 little puppies found new homes thanks to our loving customers), the local RFS, and Lake Havens two major Family Support Centres in the area. All the groups that attended went into the draw to win one of 5 x $1000 cheques. The lucky 5 winners were: Charmhaven RFS, Central Coast Coastal Patrol, Lakelands Community and Family Centre, Warnervale Family and Community Centre and Charmhaven Home and Garden Club. Highlight for the day was Peter Sterling. He was friendly and enthusiastic about the whole day signing autographs for customers and team members. It was great to see such as well known celebrity give support and encouragement to Lake Haven Bunnings.

Community Fun Day at Albany 3rd of November 2007
	Bunnings Warehouse Albany’s recent community fun day was held on 3rd November. The mayor for the city of Albany attended as well as local boy and former AFL player Brad Wira. Many locals joined in the celebrations and $5000 was shared amongst a number of community groups.
